Couples are opted for sweetheart tables. Tradition is for the wedding party to sit at the head table with the ride and groom. I believe it really depends on each case; if you have a large wedding party it would be a good idea to have an sweetheart table. Or if a great number of your wedding party have spouses that are not in the wedding, it would be nice if they could sit with them. The bottom line is what is best for you, it's your day. It would be nice to have that alone time, and all the attention on you two. Here are some really nice examples.
